Coral that is active in the Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Turkish, Byelorussian, and Georgian markets in the tour operation field began to operate in the German market as well by acquiring the Düsseldorf-based tour operator FERIEN Touristik in the year 2017.
Ferien Touristik, which was founded by TUI Leisure Travel in the year 2004 and the shares of which were purchased by the important German media company Media Ventures GmbH in the later years, has a history of 13 years. The agreement between Coral Travel Group (OTI Holding) and Media Ventures GmbH is the product of almost 8 months of negotiation.
Ferien Touristik sends almost 150,000 tourists to 100 destinations each year through the dynamic packaging method. 40 people work for the company that has an experienced team.
It is targeted to make a launch intended for the industry and press in the coming months upon finalization of the structuring, strategy and targets.
